Abhi Bhandari

Abhi is currently a second-year student at the University of Ottawa, enrolled in the Health Sciences program.

Previously involved with Amnesty International and “Evolving Spirit Nurturing Cultural Equality,” she raised money to provide Haitian pre-school children breakfast for the school year, and helped send young Togolese girls to high school. A recipient of the “Citizenship Award” both in Elementary and High School, she tries her best to get involved and protect human rights. By paying particular focus on education, Abhi understands that together we can make a significant, positive impact on the lives of so many individuals, families, and societies all within the global community. That is why she joined the Abhilasha project.

Abhi is looking forward to graduate with her Bachelor’s degree in three years and hopes for a bright future.
