Either through a donation, through time spent on helping with a fundraising event or simply by educating other people within the community about development issues, particularly education, you too can do your share to effect positive change within the global community.

All the money that is raised will go directly towards building the new school for the children as well as purchasing new educational equipment as per their needs.

The New Abhilasha School Plans

The New Abhilasha School is a dream that will hopefully become a reality soon with the continual support and help from our partners and donors both in India and abroad.

The new school Abhilasha School will be a model for schools across India implementing new and existing technologies to better cope with the needs of its growing student body. The new Abhilasha building will include a Hostel building as well as a building for the School, dining hall, kitchen and staff quarter.

Our hope is to build a school that will enable our students to achieve their highest potential with the help and
support of our dedicated staff.

Cost of construction of the building: 60 lakhs – appx. 141,000$ CAD

Cost for inside of the school (furniture, equipment, etc): 40 lakhs – app. 94,000$ CAD

Program Description: Objectives for the New Abhilasha School

Residences
To provide residential housing and a stable living environment to persons with disabilities.
Training, Education and Counselling
To provide life management counselling and other support services to assist persons with disabilities to    become more independent in the community.
To provide training for, and to assist in, the placement of persons with disabilities in employment.
To provide support and encouragement to persons with disabilities by offering programs in individual    development and integration into the community.
To provide relief to persons with disabilities by developing and implementing recreation, education and    social integration programs for the disabled.
Community Education
To educate the public on debilitating conditions and the needs of persons with disabilities by providing    seminars and by collecting and disseminating information on that topic.
Health Care Centre
To operate a community health care centre by providing medical, health and support services for the    general public.
